The Girls of 007

I had the honour of walking in "The Girls of 007" show yesterday. It is a show celebrating and paying tribute to 50 years of the James Bond movie, with 24 BOND girls you saw in all the movies, all styled and wore clothing inspired by the movies. These clothings were made by some really talented designers in SL as listed in the teaser below.

 

I was assigned two characters:

Plenty O'toole in the episode of "Diamond is Forever"

 

My beautiful gown for Plenty is from KeZa, made by Zaara Guzzanti. I love the shades of this gown and it is very similar to the one we saw in the movie. 

 

My second character is Severine in the latest "Skyfall".

 

 
....and I was wearing the gown made by Ghee. My picture doesn't quite do justice to this gown because it shimmer and shines when you see it inworld.  It is definitely a killer piece. :)

I couldn't find a similar necklace for this styling so I wore a dagger instead because Severine is not entirely a good Bond girl. :)

The Collective Collection Opening Show

The Collective is growing from month to month and as some of our models and staff are creating amazing clothes in SL we are proud to open our little shopping mall. 

In our new store you will find great new items from Ghee, JLB Apparel, SMESH and SHINE. These are only 4 of the awesome designers in The Collective. More is to come. But now we want to open it and give you a little peek at what you can buy in the store. 

On Wednesday 10th April you are invited to celebrate this opening with us in a little Fashion Show with all the designers from the store. They show some of their newest creations, and they bring some gifts for everyone too!  The show will feature the amazing tunes of DJ Belice Benoir and there will be an after show party at the store where you can buy all the outfits from the show and maybe find some special gifts. 

So dont miss this amazing event in a cool marketplace atmosphere and join us on 10th April at 3pm SLT!

Live Glamorous with Liv-Glam

We're very excited about our next show -  Live Glamorous with Liv-Glam - bringing you a taste of glamorous living from the closet of Miss Samantha Jones, the talented designer behind Liv-Glam. Liv-Glam is one of Second Life's fastest growing fashion labels, and, in less than a year, has become firmly established as one of the premier shopping destinations for today's style conscious fashionista.

The show will take us from daytime through to evening, with stylish outer wear, chic day wear, dresses and suits, and glamorous evening wear brought to you by models from The Collective.

Pop Art from ~ghee~

Roy Lichtenstein's 1963 pop art classic is transformed into fashion art by Warm Clarity of ~ghee~ with this simple turtleneck tunic dress. It's my favourite from her new collection of 10 fine art dresses on sale for just 149L$ each - each is unique, with the art work cleverly applied to retain the essence of the original.
